About Us

Founded in 2019, Hayes Custom Carpentry was born from Josh Hayes’s eye for detail, his passion for building and design, and his ability to see each challenge as an opportunity to learn new skills.

Josh is a Winter Park native and earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree in 2017. However, his preference for staying active and working on unique projects lead him to a career in carpentry rather than a typical corporate desk job. When he does find time away from carpentry he enjoys metal fabrication and machining, as well as time with family.
